Service 04 · Custom software
Custom software built around how you work.
We build portals, dashboards and internal tools, and we plan them by watching how your team really works. The code, the servers and every account are yours from day one.
8 steps
from watching the work to the warranty
Day 1
your code, your servers and your accounts, in your name
1 demo
of working software at the end of every sprint
How we work
Eight steps, in this order.
Before anyone writes code, we watch the work and test the riskiest idea. Then we build in short sprints you can follow.
Discovery
We interview the people who do the work and watch them do it. Then we map the real process and your systems. Sometimes the answer is not to build anything, and we’ll tell you so.
You get
A report: the process map, the scope by priority, success metrics, risks and a budget range.
We need from you
Time with your team, sample data and one person who decides.
Work order
We put the scope, the price and the delivery dates in writing, and split the build into releases.
You get
The work order and a release plan with dates.
We need from you
Your signature.
Prototype
We build a clickable prototype of the key screens and test it with the people who’ll use them. We also try out the hardest integration.
You get
The prototype and the test results.
We need from you
Approval of the prototype.
Accounts in your name
The code repository, the cloud, the domain and the password vault go in your name. We join as invited users.
You get
A register of every account and who has access.
We need from you
Accepting the invitations.
Build in sprints
We work in short sprints, with code review and automated tests. Each one ends with a demo of working software on a private site.
You get
Working software and release notes every sprint, and a weekly report on scope and budget.
We need from you
One person at each demo, and written approval of any change.
Tests
We run load and regression tests, review security against OWASP standards, check accessibility and rehearse the data migration.
You get
A test and security report.
We need from you
Time from your team for the acceptance tests.
Pilot and launch
One team uses it first. Then we move everyone over with a plan to roll back, and we train your staff.
You get
Training recordings, an admin manual and a runbook.
We need from you
Your sign-off after the pilot.
Warranty and support
We fix defects at no cost for the number of days set in your work order. After that, you choose: our support plan or a full handover to your team.
You get
The handover pack and a signed transfer of the rights to the code.
We need from you
Your choice: our support plan or a handover to your team.

Before you ask
The questions we hear most.
What’s the first step, and how do you estimate?
A discovery phase with an end date. Then you get the budget and a dated plan, with every assumption written down.
Who owns the code?
You do, from the first commit: your repository, your cloud and a signed transfer of the rights.
What if we change our minds?
Changes are normal. Before you approve one, you’ll see what it costs in days and money. The weekly report shows how much budget is left.
How do I see progress?
You get a demo at the end of every sprint and a private site you can open at any time. A person on our team answers around the clock.
What happens after launch?
First, a warranty period written into your work order. Then our support plan, or a full handover to your team.
Get your price and date.
Tell us what you need. Before we start, we’ll send you the scope, the price and the delivery date in writing.
