What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser to remember something, such as an open session or a preference. Other technologies do similar jobs: the browser’s local storage and session storage, and tracking pixels.

What this site stores in your browser

If you are visiting, nothing. As of October 13, 2026, the site:

  • Sets no cookies of its own or from third parties, not even in the contact form
  • Stores nothing in your browser, in local storage or session storage
  • Uses no analytics, ads, tracking pixels or chat
  • Loads everything from our own domain, including fonts, scripts, images and the 3D model of the hands, so no other company can set cookies through it
  • Keeps the language in the address (/es/ for Spanish), not in a cookie

That is why you see no cookie banner. In the European Union and the United Kingdom, for example, a site must ask for your consent before it stores information on your device that is not strictly necessary. This site stores nothing.

The server does keep technical logs of each visit, which are not cookies. Our Privacy Policy explains them.

Cookies for the people who manage the site

WordPress, the system the site runs on, and its plugins set cookies only for the people who sign in to manage it. These cookies keep their session open and remember the settings of the admin panel. Visitors never receive them.

  • wordpress_, wordpress_sec_ and wordpress_logged_in_, followed by a code: they keep the session open. They are deleted when the browser closes, or after 14 days if you check “Remember Me”.
  • wordpress_test_cookie and wp_lang: on the sign-in page, they check that the browser accepts cookies and remember the chosen language. They are deleted when the browser closes.
  • wp-settings- and wp-settings-time-, followed by the account number: they remember how each person set up the panel. They last one year.
  • _lscache_vary: the page cache (LiteSpeed Cache) uses it to know that the person is signed in, so it does not give them stored pages. It lasts as long as the session.
  • wpforms_ followed by a name (for example wpforms_field_group_standard): the contact form plugin remembers which parts of its form builder each person keeps open or closed. They last up to 30 days.

The session cookies and _lscache_vary are strictly necessary: without them nobody could sign in or see the panel up to date. The others only remember how each person set up the panel. None of them reach visitors.

When you leave the site

Some buttons and links take you to other sites, which have their own cookies and policies:

  • The email button opens your own email program or service, with its own policies.
  • Our Terms of Use link to the creator of the 3D model of the hands and to its license.

We do not control the cookies of other sites. Check the policy of each one.

How to control cookies

Your browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, for every site or one by one, usually in its privacy settings. Blocking them changes nothing on this site for visitors. The people who manage it need them to sign in.

Each browser explains how on its help pages:
